PVS rule file

Hi All,

How the PVS rule file is different from Tech LEF file used in PNR flow.

  •  By PVS rule file, do you mean the DRC deck? If so, it's very different. The Tech LEF contains the layer info for the process along with rules for EDI to follow to avoid creating DRC violations. The PVS deck is what you will run against your final layout to check if you have any DRC violations.
