Multiple fanout for power switches

 Hi All,

 I am implementing power switch flow using Encounter, By expanding four switches inserted in the netlist using the following command.

 addPowerSwitch -powerDomain SW_PD -column -globalSwitchCellName SW_name  -switchModuleInstance switch_inst -enablePinIn {en_f en_all} -enablePinOut {en_f_out  en_all_out} -enableNetIn {pgin[0]} -enableNetOut {pgout[0] } -skipRows $sw_pitch_y_no_of_rows -checkerboard -leftOffset $switch_x_offset -horizontalPitch $min_sw_pitch_x -area {118 118 2134 3321} -firstInstanceName {pwr_switch_0} -reportFile pso_region_0.rpt -instancePrefix region_0_

This command I am running incrementally for three other regions (region1 region2 region3) in my design.

When switches are expanded power switch connection on the first  rows, at macro channels , intersection of the regions  are multiple. At these switches there are 55 connection that are going out to other switches.

 

Did any one face this kind of issue?

Please let me know if you have solution to avoid this.
