Hi all,

I new to Encounter,hope u guys can resolve my issue

1. Actually in my design i have M7 vertical power net as vddm,but for this design im cutting the strap into half ,so the other half im naming as vddp, but when i dump out a lef i c the attribute set for vddp is GROUND.

So is ter a way to specify POWER to this net,as i used the folowing command to change the add name

addNet -physical vddp

createNetGroup vddp -net vddp

editChangeNet -to vddp

2. How to check the attribute of the PG net like if the selected net is power or ground as when i do reportSelect it doesnt show the required info other than voltage ,So is ter a way we can get the info on selected net

Regards,

Anurag

    Hi Anurag,

    You don't need the createNetGroup or editChangeNet commands. In your .conf file, make sure you list all your power and ground nets:

    set rda_Input(ui_pwrnet) {VDD vddp vddm}

    set rda_Input(ui_gndnet) {VSS }

    etc....
