Hello. need some example scripts for floorplan. plz help

I'm a beginner in using SoC encounter. Can someone tell me how I should learn this software. I do have help files and reference manual. I think few example flows would help me understand.

to be specific to my problem... I need to section the floorplan (create a small rectangular void) and reserve a place for the module. Later in the void I am going to attach manually a different layout design in cadence Virtuoso.

you need to learn the reference manual present in this software click HELP and then proceed, you find all commands ands procedures for the whole process
