Hi,

Is there an option in encounter 11.11 to make sure that all module ports are preserved in total physical design flow (i.e. Place, placeopt, cts ,ctsopt, route, routeopt (Si and NonSI)).

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

PradyK

More than one required ... one for all optDesign steps  and one for CTS

    setOptMode -addPortAsNeeded false

And in your <design>.ctstch CTS control file

     DontAddNewPortModule
    + <inst_name>
    + <inst_name>
    + <inst_name>
