How to find a inst with specific logic?

hi; 

I'm doing a metal change job as our chip has a bug. I 'm suffering to find a inst with specific logic.How can i do it with db commands or other cpmmands.

    I don't see the timing library 'function' property listed as a property you can access using get_property. So I don't see a way using native Tcl commands.

    But you can run "reportFootprint -outfile footprint.rpt" then review footprint.rpt for a cell with the desired function.

    foreach_in_collection inst_name_of_buffer [get_cells * -hier -filter "ref_name =~ BUF*"] {

    puts [get_object_name $inst_name_of_buffer]

    }

    In your design,the name of the inverter starting with INVX1,INVX2.......,then change

    ref_name =~ INVX* in foreach command. This command may useful to you
