Making preroutes type SPECIAL

 Hello,

I am trying to fix AC current violations on clock nets post-route using NONDEFAULT rules. When trying to setAttribute of violating clock nets to use -non_default_rule, I see this - " #WARNING (NRDB-605) Cannot set attribute -non_default_rule to NDR11 for NET clk_i__L2_N11 because it has preroutes. Make preroutes type SPECIAL to connect with non_default_rule routing."

I could not find from Encounter Command Reference or User Guide on how to make preroutes type as SPECIAL. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Also, I wanted to know if there is a good flow to prevent AC violations in clock nets during CTS or route? Is it to use NDRs and SI driven routing?

Regards,

Siddhartha.

    Use "convertNetToSNet -nets netName".
