how to report timing

Hi,

How can I report all the timing infirmation for a particular module in a design.

When I checked the command reference for report timing there is an option "-from {instance| external_delay| clock | port | pin} ", but when I give the instance name it says its not a valid entry. I want all the pins of my instance and its internal c2c paths to be reported.
