loading timing libs

Hi all,

quick questions .. how to load timing libraries after i import the desig. I did through ImportDesign --> Configure MMMC form.

But still it is saying "Timing Libraries nit Loaded yet" when i try timeDesign.

Please need a quick help.

Second, as of my knowledge trialRoute needs the design need to be placed. What if  i placed some cells and i need to run trail route on that cells while rest of the design is still unplaced.

Thanks in advance,

Sunil.

I'm assuming you specified the timing library files in the MMMC form, and they exist, etc... did you have any errors during the design import that might say why they didn't get loaded?

All cells in the design must be placed before routing. I suppose you could try nanoroute with selected nets only, but I'm not sure if that will work.
