max_transition violations

 hai friends,

how can i find the pins that are violated by max_transition violations

 any command?

  • After you run timeDesign the output directory will contain a *.tran file. Default is timingReports/designName.tran. This file contains the max transition violations.

    i need to write a script for reducing the max_transition violation

    when i use the command  get_property [get_pins $pin_name] max_transition this gives a value different from

    the value got by the command  dbGetMaxTrans & dbGetMaxTransSlack for the particular pin and also a different value in the reportfile

    so i need to confirm which one is correct or   is there any simplest way to do this job
