Level of the Clock Tree

Hi everyone,

I wonder if it is possible to specify the level of clock tree to be synthesized in socecounter? I mean tell the tool that I want 3 level tree and that it finds that most suitable?

I noticed that there is a option named maxNumLevel in autoCTS specification file. But this command can only specify the maximum allowable level instead of the exact level number of the tree. Also I know that in the manual one, the topology can be specify manually. But here I am considering the autoCTS.

 The reason that I ask this question is that I have read a paper considering the CTS flow. Although I do not know which tool they are using(which could be cirtical), I noticed that they could specify exactly the level of number of the tree.  So I wonder if I could some how do that in Encounter? I have already read throught the part of CTS in both user guide and the command guide for SocE and I could not find anything helpful.

Any help would be really appricated!
