 Dear All,

Can anyone tell me if Density screens are honored after optimization?  I'm trying to applyplacement density screens in EDI 14 but they

are not honored after optimization.

Thanks,

Aram

     Hi,

Density screens are just honored during placement.

If you want to keep you std-cell density at for example 50% also during op you need to

1). Add 50% filler cells in that particular area (preferably the biggest filler-cell, or

2). Add placement-blocks in e.g every other std cell row in this area
