Warning ENCLF-200 and ENCLF-201 during import .globals file

I received the message:

Warning ENCLF-200: Pin 'PAD' in macro 'A_BBC12H1P' has no ANTENNAGATEAREA value defined. The library data is incomplete and some process antenna rules will not be checked correctly.

Warning ENCLF-201:  Pin 'PAD' in macro 'A_BBC12H2P' has no ANTENNADIFFAREA value defined. The library data is incomplete and some process antenna rules will not be checked correctly.

After import the file .globals with technology description (.LEF).

What is the impact this warnings in my project? I need to solve them?

  • You may or may not need to fix this. You can check with the macro vendor if antenna info was meant to be included, or if it is in a separate antenna-only LEF file. It's possible the macro has built-in antenna protection and doesn't need an antenna LEF.
