Place and Route in SoC Encounter

Hello all,

I would like to know if there is an option in SoC Encounter to place&route some special cells* manually (I need to specify there position in the core and do manual routing for them) and then place&route the whole design based on this ?

If yes, how to keep these special cells and there routing wires fixed during timing optimization, CTS,...etc ?

*by special cells, I mean special instances in my synthesized gate level netlist

    Hi,

In the comand reference guide you can see the command placeInstance. Also you can define a net as special net.
