ERROR IMPCCOPT-4082 when running ccopt_design command in Innovus 22.1

Hi everyone,

I am trying to do the clock tree synthesis using Innovus 22.1 and it is facing the following error:

1. **ERROR: (IMPCCOPT-4082): No timing clocks found therefore cannot extract clock trees. An SDC file should be loaded.

2. **ERROR: (IMPCCOPT-2004): Cannot run 'update_clock_tree_spec_annotations -include_ideal_net_status' as no clock trees are defined.

Although, I have included the sdc file (which got generated by Genus) in the mmmc file before init_design step. I am using the Innovus common UI. Any suggestion how to bypass this error will be very helpful for me. Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

For me there was a problem in the SDC file generated by Genus. There was no "create_clock" command in the sdc file due to some script error. Maybe check your sdc file.

Yeah it was something similar with the sdc generated from genus in my case too.

Thanks a lot for your reply!!
