LEF file error in floorplan

I encountered some problems when running the digital flow example by foundry, which actually complaining about the lef file in the library. These error are gotten with all the inputs from Stylus Digital flow template.

**ERROR: (IMPLF-666): Export restricted rule syntax is found in property 'LEF58_RECTONLY' in layer 'm6' near or at token 'EXCEPTVIA'. Aborting LEF file loading.
**ERROR: (IMPLF-3): Error found when processing LEF file '/opt/apps/design-kits/Intel/22RF_2023_Q4/pdk224_r1.0.3HP1/apr/cadence/m11_1x_3xa_1xb_1xc_2yb_2ga_mim2_1gb__bumpp/7t108_tp0/p1222.lef'. The subsequent file content is ignored. Refer to error messages above for details. Fix the errors, and restart 'Innovus'.
Type 'man IMPLF-3' for more detail.
**ERROR: (IMPSYT-16013):  Loading LEF file(s) failed, and has aborted. Refer to error messages above for details. Please exit the tools and fix the errors first, then re-load design again.

The error showed up in the floorplan step.I have contacted the foundry and they can not replicate this error and the suggestion from them is to check with cadence because I am using different versions of cadence from them.

The cadence version I am using is 22.33-s094_1, but they are using 22.11-s119_1 instead.

Hi,
is seems like there was some recent development around the rule LEF58_RECTONLY. I see new options were added in the last years , such as (EXCEPTVIA).

This particular LEF rule is also mentioned in What's New in Innovus Stylus Common UI 22.1x 22.17

So there is a good chance that the different tool version is what is causing your problem.
Best is to install the same tool version as used by the foundry.

Thank you for your reply.

However, I am using newer version than what has been used by the foundry. I suppose that the new version of cadence should support the old features in the lef file such as (EXCEPTVIA).

My bad, I misread your comment that your tool version is older.
In that case it is best to contact Cadence support.
