Innovus: IO Pin Placement After Routing

Dear all,

After routing the design, I noticed that all pins were moved to the origin ({0,0}). Running assign_io_pins successfully relocated most of them to the "PAD" port of their respective I/O pad instances, but some remain floating at the boundary.

The report summary indicates unplaced pins and floating IOs.

I attempted to manually move them using edit_pin, but it only allows movement along the boundary without placing them on the "PAD" port.

For example, the pin OTP_VCC should be placed on the AVDD pad of the OTP_VCC I/O pad instance. The corresponding net is VCC, so I tried:

connect_pin -inst OTP_VCC -pin AVDD -net VCC
assign_io_pins

However, this did not work.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Anas
