Calling base class methods

In e, if I redefine a method in a "like" inheritance derived class, can that method call the parent class definition of that function and, if so, what's the syntax?  I couldn't find this in the e reference manual.

I'm not sure I understand... Are you looking for a way to call the original method declaration as it was before any "is also" extensions?
Maybe someone knows better, but I'm not aware of anything like this.
What's the requirement that you're trying to meet, maybe we can find a different way to do what you need?
