Insert coverage model table using AutoText

Hi,

In the Coverage section of the XDMAC example vplan it says: "To insert a new coverage model table, use Insert à AutoText à AutoText à AutoText à First-Order Coverage Model".

Has this feature ever been available in VerificationPlanTemplate.dot?

 Regards

    Hi Jonas.

I just loaded up the vPlan template from an ancient vManager (I forget which version it came from though).
The Insert AutoText menu has vPlanCoverageTable as one of the four options. I think the "first order" part of the name in the XDMAC example is a mistake. Remember though that the coverage tables are not used by the tool flow, so the exact format is not important.

If you're just starting out with building a vPlan, have you considered using Enterprise Planner (eplanner)?
It's a Java GUI that ships with vManager and lets you create the plan without all that Word nonsense! :-)
It does let you export HTML and Word views of the vPlan, for documentation purposes.

Enterprise Planner does let you load your e code and build coverage directly in the tool, which goes a step beyond what the Word flow could do.

    Hope this helps...
