Hi,

  Can anyone explain what the specman component writebn_sn exactly does?

eg.  registers.writebn_sn(value,byteen)   (The value and byteen are predefined values)

    This looks like a plain method call in some struct/unit that, looking at the name, does something with registers. Looking at the naming, it's some sort of write method that does something with a value and byte enables, but that's just a guess. Where do you find this code? It's as far as I know not something built-in, so it looks like you'll need to look at the components imported in your environment. 

     

    If you'd like some on-site assistance on this, I would recommend contacting a local Cadence AE.
