Invalid pointer error in simvision

Hello! While running the VIP, I am getting error for invalid pointer: eswtrace: 09.20.p007: (c) Copyright 2007-2008 Cadence Design Systems, Inc. *** glibc detected *** /home/silicon/tools/IUS92/tools.lnx86/simvision/bin/simvision.exe: free(): invalid pointer: 0x0080b170 *** ======= Backtrace: ========= /lib/libc.so.6[0x733b16] /lib/libc.so.6(cfree+0x90)[0x737030] /home/silicon/tools/IUS92/tools.lnx86/simvision/bin/simvision.exe(emRemoveTimeout+0x26)[0x80b3dea] /home/silicon/tools/IUS92/tools.lnx86/simvision/bin/simvision.exe(smniWrRetryTimerRemove+0x2b)[0x86d47cb] /home/silicon/tools/IUS92/tools.lnx86/simvision/bin/simvision.exe(smniWrStrmClose+0xad)[0x86d62cd] /home/silicon/tools/IUS92/tools.lnx86/simvision/bin/simvision.exe(smnStreamClose+0x4c)[0x86d440c] If I am running only simvision then it is not giving this error and it's running fine. I am not sure what's the problem. Can anybody help me? Thanks! Manish

For a tool error like this, we need you to file a service request, so that it can be tracked in Cadence's support system.

In addition to Steve's response, I can suggest trying the latest 9.2 release as well.
