how an OVM class is traced in SimVision?

I have an integer as part of one OVM component (ovm_scoreboard type) that I would like to see in SimVision. So far, I was able to record the transactions (using begin_tr, end_tr and recording_detail=OVM_FULL), but I also would like to trace an integer type which is part of the component. Is it possible? How it works? I tried using ovm_recorder but I wasn't successful.
