get_enclosing_unit

Hi,

Could any one plz explain about get_enclosing_unit () in "e" with an example ..

    Does what it says, returns a pointer to the unit that instantiates the caller.

    I suggest you open the docs and have a look, it's pretty well explained in there!

    Generally speaking, if you think you need to use get_enclosing_unit(),  you are making your code more messy than it should be, and you need to clean up.

    There are some good, valid uses for it, but often people get lazy and make assumptions about how their code will be re-used, then get_enclosing_unit() becomes a maintenence nightmare. If you need to connect pointers between units, do it with top-down constraints or procedurally in the connect() method of any unit.
