How to view the function coverage generated from VIPP

Hi all,

We use  OVM + VIPP for our testbench. The issue we meeting is we could get the coverage data file from VIPP (eg vr_usb_sv_cfg_top_xxxxxx.ucd, vr_usb_sv_cfg_top_xxxxx.ucm). But it show the following error when we want to open it by ICCR :

"iccr : *E, CSDNLDF: Loading the specman coverage database is not supported in standalone mode"

We could not find anything about standalone mode in ICCR user guide. Do we need the other tools view the function coverage from VIPP? How could we fix that?

BTW, it sound well that we could view all the coveage from OVM by ICCR.

Thanks

What version of Incisive are you using?  If you have 10.2 you can read in the coverage using IMC which replaces iccr for 10.2 and later.

We use 9.2-s043. Is there the other method to view the VIPP coverage?

Load the specman coverage using the Specview GUI and then browse the coverage.  It calls Desktop Manager from the Specview GUI.  Also, you could use Desktop Manager to view the results but only if you either launched the jobs from Desktop manager or enabled the Simulator to produce the desktop manager friendly wrapper.  Please contact your AE for details.

    Hi pcarzola,

I'm sorry what I show maybe misunderstand you. Actually we use the VIPP ovm version rather then e version. The VIPP coverage files is generated   with suffix *.ucm & *.ucd. I think the specview could only open the the suffix *.ecov.
