ask one question about IGNORE in e

hi,guys

when we do not want to collect item,or some statue ,we use ignore,no_collect ....

now, i ask you one question that torture  me for a while .

code is like this:

 event a_ev;

cover a_ev is

{

     item a ...

     item b....

     cross a,b using no_collect;

     transition a using text = "xxxx",ignore = (prev_a == 18 and a == 18) or (prev_a == 50 and a == 50) ,

   // i use a name small to stands for item a ,use another name big to stands for item b

     vplan_ref  = "xxxxxxxxx";

};

 when i open vplan tree to see the coverage statistics,i found specman evaluate small->big,big->small, big->big....what's going on.........

i want only to transitions traversal, that is small ->big , big->small

big ->big was evaluated,i do not want this branch.

thanks....

there is another question:

what is the distinction between no_collect and ignore?

which control the statistics,which control the counter???

so,what makes the items in the coverage table,what makes the real statistics of items?
