syntax of the expand.cfg file created by Hierarchy-Editor

Hi,

what is difference between these two syntax found in the expand.cfg file created by Hierarchy-Editor.

cell \123X_1P20 .ttip binding :symbol;

cell FLAN_SCH.LDO_sch binding :symbol;

When is the "\" and a space character before cell name is used. Can anybody help me to know the syntax to write a expand.cfg file by myself.
