Additional TCL Documentation?

I'm having trouble learning about the TCL API, despite having read the Extensions application note in some detail. I've done quite a bit of programming (C, C++, Java, COBOL, x86 assembly, bash, etc) so I hope that this just a matter of not knowing where to look for documentation rather than lack of skill :)  Is there a proper description of the API, or are we meant to simply use the one app note?
