Engineering Fix

Hi I have been given an Engineering fix for a problem in formal tool. The IT suppor has installed it but I am not sure how to use it.

Usually the tool is used by seting SOCV_KIT_HOME and sourcing env.csh

But I am not finding any such file at the folder kits/VerificationKit

I will be thankful if someone can give early solution to this.

Regards,

Avni

Sorry to post this issue here. I am not sure on which foum this should be posted.

Avni, most engineering kits for Incisive do not include the SoC Kit. If you don't actually need the kit components, just don't set SOCV_KIT_HOME when using the engineering build. If you do need the kit contents, it's probably safe to poitn SOCV_KIT_HOME to point at the kit in a normal Incisive release, preferably one with a similar version number.

In any case, please contact the Cadence AE who gave you the engineering kit for support, as these kits are usually built per customer issue and may have different features enabled or disabled. Your local AE would know more detail to be able to help you.
