Excluding Toggle coverage

Hi All,

I am doing coverage part for my subsytem . I am using "set_toggle_excludefile" in my .ccf at the time of Elab . I am using patterns , so it is excluding some signals which are covered .i want to exclude only those which are not covered .

I am using 12.2 version , ICCR. Please let me know any switch to exclude only uncovered toggles.

 Regards

Kiran

    Hi Kiran,

Toggle exclusion through CCF is an elaboration (pre-simulation) step. Coverage tool does not sample excluded signals. On the other hand, the coverage can be known only after simulation. So, set_toggle_exclude is not the right thing to do in your case. You should try analysis time refinement to exclude uncovered signals.

    Regards,

    Praveen
