net connectivity at the top level using TCL

Hello,

I would like to use ncsim's (or simvision's) shell to find out the connectivity of a net.

For example, if I have a wire named clk in my top-level, I would like to get a list of ports that this wire is connected to.

Is this possible? Can you point me how to do that?

Thanks,

In SimVision you should be able to send the net to the schematic tracer window and trace the drivers and loads in there. If the connections show dotted lines, it means there are multiple connections and not all are shown; just double click the net again to show all the connections. You might also want to use the view menu to "hide pins" befor doing the tracing; this will stop SimVision from showing you all of the unrelated module ports, keeping the schematic simpler.

    Thanks for the resposne.

is there any way to do that from a tcl script?

I'd like to automatically derive the connectivity of my net.

    Regards,
