Color highlighting SimVision's console

All,

is there any way to customize the syntax highlighting in SimVision's console.

When I run UVM, messages and errors are automatically highlighed in different colors.

I would like to syntax highlight my own customized messages.

    Unfortunately, what you are requesting is not supported.  However, we do have a SimVision extension script which displays the log file in a window where you can customize the color of messages.  If this sounds of interest to you, then please contact Cadence support and we can get you the script.

  • Hi Doug,

    I know it is a relatively "old" post, but I was wondering if I can get the script too. It will help us a lot since in the Company UVM environments are more and more used and it is mandatory any kind of help for debugging.

    UVM messages should already be highlighted in the SimVision console window.  The request of the original post of this thread was to highlight the user's customized messages.  (If you want access to that extension script, please contact your Cadence AE or open a case at http://support.cadence.com , and we will work with you to get you the script.)
