ncsim: *F,SVHMAX: The number of allocated dynamic objects is very large and will lead the simulation to run out of memory. Simulation is being stopped at this point.

Hi,

Has anyone encounter this before? Any advice how to identify the culprit?

Thanks,
EYEY

Use the heap analyser or the Tcl "heap" command periodically during simulation to work out which classes you are allocating and failing to free. This message comes due to a memory leak in your SystemVerilog code; somewhere you are retaining pointers to objects, so the garbage collection cannot recover the memory. Our documentation (cdnshelp tool and http://support.cadence.com/) have more details on how to debug memory leaks in your code.
