Merge conflict with iccr

Hi,

I'm wondering if there is a bkm to resolve a merge conflict.

I have been running iccr merge just fine until I had to fix one of the coverpoints. Now I'm getting a coverpoint not merged - description differs.

Thanks,

-Victor

I don't know what a bkm is, but I can tell you that iccr is a very old and deprecated tool. Can you try with Incisive Metrics Centre (imc)?

Hi, Stephen, Thanks for the quick response. BKM is best known method. anyway, we use IMC to view the coverage. Could you point me to any doc that uses IMC to merge? Thanks, -Victor

I'm away from my Linux box now, so can't quote anything precise. However if you run "cdnshelp -search 'imc merging runs'" at the Linux prompt it should open the help tool and get you close enough in the IMC User Guide.

Thanks, Stephen. Seems like the imc guide/help file is missing from our folders. When i tried to search for imc merging runs, no results came up. When I tried to go to Help on IMC gui, it complains that it's missing imcuser folders. Is there a place to find all of these documentation online? I'm not sure if I could reach my tool admin today.

Maybe worth trying a different Incisive release if you have more than one available?

Alternatively log into and you can access all the documentation, FAQs and app notes.

(The forum software is messing up my post, if the link above is broken, it should be (without spaces) http:// support . cadence . com /
