I figured out what FUNTSK is but I could not find any canonical list of *Errors and *Warnings for ncsim - do it exist?

Thanks, Tom

I'm not aware of a list, but you can get an expansion on the meaning of the message with nchelp ncsim FUNTSK.

There isn't a definitive list, mainly because the list is quite large and can vary from one release to the next, so documenting it is an overhead.

If you take the tool name and the mnemonic tag from the message, nchelp gives you more information often including examples. In your case: "nchelp ncelab FUNTSK".

There is also the ncbrowse command which takes the name of a log file, and opens a GUI showing all the warnings & errors, neatly grouped by severity or mnemonic. This has the advantage that you can click on any given log message and see the source code highlighted for that message, as well as seeing the expanded help text. It also lets you open the source file in your chosen editor (via a toolbar button) so that you can fix the error right away. Simply do "ncbrowse irun.log -sortby tag" (or replace "tag" with "severity").
