SimVision: Print to ps

I try priniting a SimVision Waveform into a .ps (via File->Print Window...), but whenever i do it i get a corrupted file. I tried open it with various tools. They all say "corrupted file" or just show a list of my probes without the waveform on the right.

Is there some kind of trick to make this thing work at all? Any other suggestions to get my waveform as PDF or PNG/BMP file?

I can not send it to a pdf print device, since i remote access SimVision from another computer.

There has to be a possibility.

    Hi,

    Which version are you running?

Also, can you check your system by running "checkSysConf"?

    Thanks.

    Thanks for you response.

Its SimVision 12.10-s005 with Virtuoso 6.1.6-64b. On "checkSysConf IC6.1.6" it passes MEMORY and SWAP requirements and than gets UNKNOWN on DISPLAY. Maybe because i remote access the device.

However, i figured out i get a valid ps-File if i set "Spead time range across" in the print menu to 2 and than back to 1. I dont get why i need to do that, but im fine with it.

Nope. Got the same error again. Seems i just got lucky with the right settings and put it down to the wrong actions.

Im done with it. i will just screenshot the waveform and invert the colors, even if it looks shabby. I dont have time for this. I put one of the corrupt ps files here, just in case someone from cadence want it for debug reasons: www.filedropper.com/out_2

You are running a version of the software that has not been supported for quite some time.

I suggest upgrading to a supported version and trying it again.
