Exclude a net from block coverage

Hi All,

Incisive coverage pragmas works great to turn off coverage on a certain block of a code.

However I was wondering if we could exclude a group of nets from being covered?

For example, As shown below,  I have few nets for power supply checks in a verilogAMS code. These nets are declared as wires.  I would like to exclude these nets from block coverage. How do I do it?

Any help would be highly appreciated!

Regards,

Sandeep

Not sure if you can do this with pragmas. Have you considered using refinements in IMC's GUI and saving them as a *.vRefine file?

I do not see any option in IMC refinement toolbar to exclude certain nets from block coverage? I can exclude a complete branch from coverage but not  just nets.

    Regards,

    Sandeep

Sorry Sandeep, I don't believe this is possible. If the nets are tied off, you might get some results from enabling the "set_com" mode in your coverage configuration file (passed to irun elaboration via -covfile). This tells the simulator to exclude coverage from any nets that are tied off. I'm not sure how well it'll work in mixed-signal simulation, but if it does detect the tied off signals, then it should automatically remove them from the corresponding block and expression coverage.
