Compile time ,elaboration time and simulation time calculation while running a test

Hi,

I'm looking for knowing on how to get the information on how much time consumed during compile, elaboration and simulation phases for any test in IRUN.

If there is any switch please provide some suggestions?

Regards,

Mahesh

    Hello Mahesh.

You can use the irun options "-status -status3" to get the time per step. It then reports messages in the format of

    ncsim: Memory Usage - 31.0M program + 81.3M data = 112.2M total (112.7M Peak)
    ncsim: CPU Usage - 0.1s system + 0.3s user = 0.5s total (0.8s, 59.0% cpu)

Where "ncsim" could also be "ncvlog" or "ncelab".
