Analyse the Functional Coverage of list of failing test case.

Vmanager unlike IMC/ICCR automatically excludes the  coverage data of the failing test case, and help us analyse the functionally correct hits in coverage.

But we can leverage use of functional coverage to get the summary of the failures in regression if

"We can analyse funcational and/or Stimulus coverage of list of only failing test cases"

Can anyone le me know how to do this with Vmanager?

    Hi All,

    Have found the solution meanwhile.

Solution : Disable the default exclusion of failing test coverage.

From Vamanger GUI, follow following step

    1. Click Config icon  -> Click Vplan Tab.

    2. For the Option "Include failed run for vPlan results" select "All Metrics" And Apply settings.

    3. Now open Fail Only list window and then click on vPlan button.

Now you can get all merged coverage data for Failed test in your regression.

Depending on how you have defined Functional coverage, you can browse through your cover bins and get to know for which combination of configurations and DUT modes

    your test cases are failing.
