How to get system time in SV?

Hi,

I am familiar with $realtime that will return the simulation time in the test bench. But what if I want to get the system time? Is there any direct function call to achieve this?

There are two ways:

$system("date") will print a value for you to compute manually.

Use dpi to import a UNIX time function.
