How to show posedges by Simvision expression?

Hi,

In Simvision, users can easily view conditional combination of some signals by its expression feature.

However, if I want to view conditions like,

@posedge(A) & (B == 'h1234)

How can I achieve this by Simvision expression?

Thanks.

    Hi,

    Although the SimVision Expression Calculator does not support a "posedge" operation directly, you can use the "shift" operation (that receives time shifted value of a signal) to simulate it.

    Consider the following example:

    (A === 1'b1 && shift(A, <period>) === 1'b0 && B === 'h1234) ? 1'b1 : 1'b0

    Replace the signal names above with the full path names from the design, and <period> above with half the period. (Assuming A is periodic.)

    Please give this a try.

    Thanks.

    - Doug

    That indeed works for me. Thank you!
