Does driver trace through system verilog interfaces ever work?

Interfaces are great but it is so frustrating that driver tracing through them never works in Simvision.  Does this work for anybody or is it universally broken in Cadence simulators?

Tracing through interfaces should work, but without knowing which version you're using and what elaboration options you used, it's hard to know why you are having issues.

    A few tips:

    1. Try to use the latest Xcelium version, if possible.

    2. Elaborate your design with the options "-access +rwc -lwdgen" to create the debug database to help SimVision to understand the design connectivity.

    3. Try to use the trace cause rather than the trace drivers feature; it follows the values not the wires, so may be more accurate.

We are running Xcelium 18.09-s003 but the problem is not new to this version.  I will try the -lwdgen flag.  I am unfamiliar with trace values, it does not appear in any of the simvision menus.
