We would like to use the $temperature function in a SystemVerilog behavioral model in digital simulaion using Xcelium.
By default the $temperature function returns 300.15 degree Kelvin in digital simulationIs there a possibility to change the temperature returned by that function (e.g. xrun parameter, TCL command, force ...)?
I would assume you need the $cds_set_temperature() function: https://support.cadence.com/apex/techpubDocViewerPage?xmlName=verilogamsref.xml&title=Cadence+Verilog-AMS+Language+Reference+--+Simulator+Functions+-+Changing+the+Global+Circuit+Temperature&hash=pgfId-1174169&c_version=20.03&path=verilogamsref%2Fverilogamsref20.03%2Fchap9.html#pgfId-1174169
Thanks for your reply. It seems that this function has been added in (latest) Xcelium version 20.03. Unfortunately we are using an older version (18.09) in our design environment and there function does not exist. So I will look for a solution w/o $temperature function like a signal in a global package.
