How to check if signal top.moduleA.aaa is directly connected to top.moduleB.bbb using xcellium TCL? (or simvision)

Note that I'm not looking for contributors, because these could be going through some logical function. Looking for direct connections.

In a big design it is very helpful, for example for figuring out what inputs of blockX are connected to what outputs of blockY.

You can't do this directly, the simulator handles connections at a more fine-grained level, rather than doing a more abstract structural analysis.

The most robust way to check the connections between IP ports is to use Jasper Gold's Connectivity app, which lets you describe the expected connectivity and prove if that connectivity is present in the design. You can also do reverse connectivity, i.e. asking the tool to tell you if two points are connected.
