SIMVISION source browser- PPESNAP error

sthoppa
sthoppa over 1 year ago

I am trying to open the source browser for my design, but it keeps throwing PPESNAP error which says "I might be running 32 bit simvision but design was compiled using 64 bit mode."

I tried opening simvision in both 32 bit and 64 bit mode, still the above PPESNAP error is shown when trying to open source browser.

I am only able to see the waveform of all the signals in design though irrespective of 32 or 64 bit simvision. Only issue is source browser doesn't work.

How do I resolve this error?

    Hi,

try to open simvision by giving the full path to the installation directory.

    Example: /path/to/xcelium instllation/directory/tools.lnx86/simvision/bin/simvision

    Regards,

Thanks Deepak. Even with your suggested approach I am seeing the following error and simvision doesn't open:

    cds_root: /lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.14' not found (required by cds_root)
Unable to find the Cadence installation in your path.

Do you have any suggestion on how to resolve this? TIA
