file dependency extraction

I have a large set of files from different IP providers, but it seems there are dependencies that aren't immediately obvious when the IPs are in RTL versus the Netlist. I'm wondering if xrun can extract the dependency graph, or if I should manually sort the include files myself.

If you have compiled the code with xrun, then you can use the "xmls" tool to extract information about dependencies.
FAQ : How to get useful information from your compiled snapshot using the xmls utility
    but in short:
    1. Build the design using xrun
    2. xrun -xmls_dep -log xmls.log

the resulting xmls.log will list every component in the design along with its dependencies.
