Hello, i'd like to truncate a bus to value of 0xF every time it reaches to 5. here's a pseudo code of mine, but i don't know how to make run compilation [code] initial begin if (top.dut.timer == 4'b0101) force top.dut.timer = 4'b1111; end end [/code] thanks for the help

    What is the data type for timer?

    Where is this code located -- at the top level? I was wondering why you needed the hierarchical path.

    BTW, use < code > ... < /code > (without the spaces) to get the code to show up correctly.
