How I will make sure that my BFM is working correctly in my Verification environment? I think using Scoreboard we can make sure that my BFM is working correctly. Please correct me if i am wrong. Please suggest me if there are other ways to check it. Thanks!

    Hi vlsi_dude,

A scoreboard can help verify this, I've often used a separate e file to extend BFM to post to the scoreboard and monitor to send detected transactions to the scoreboard.

This will give you a basic sanity check, but to ensure that you have really got it right you need to look at waveforms as well, and of course, the final verification will be when the DUT is integrated and any differences (dut-errors) are resolved.

    Regards,
    Dean
