How will I do a HAL Hdl analysis on vhdl design?

I want to do a HAL analysis on VHDL design.What are the procedure and steps for that?/

    apply command "nclaunch" 

    select a design 

    select all vhd files in selcted design and press ncvhdl option .

    After this it give various errors .. How to resolve that?

    How to elaborate particlar design?
