Op- Amp loop gain measurement

Dear All,            

I wanted to measure the Op _amp loop gain.  As suggested in the article by Op-Amp stability by Tim Green I tried to measure it by connecting a large inductor & a capactior. But I'm getting the convergence error. Is there any other way to measure the loop gain.
