Heterogeneous and homogeneous library part issue

Jennie

I have created some heterogeneous and homogeneous parts in my library. I thought I followed the steps it supoosed to be. However, when adding the pars into my schemaitc, I have to end mode, start to add part again and chose the packaging B, C or D to get the correct designator. Otherwise the designator will keep increase like U1A, U2A...never goes to the other part in the same package. Does anybody had same problem before and would like to share your experience?

Thanks.

Now the homogeneous parts is not a issue.

For heterogeneous part I still have the problem to re-annotate them. If there is only one heterogeneous part on the schematic like LM139, it seems ok. If there are more than one same part on the schemtic, re-annotation process generates errors from second part. It means the system give the correct designator to the first part it meet and can not recongize the other parts in one package.

I made the same part with homogeneous method, everything is ok. In order to solve the problem I can chose homogeneous part for LM139, however I do have other part can not be homogeneous part. Does anybody has the same problem as me?
